Philippines based business school the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) has launched a new executive MBA in entrepreneurship

Designed for "entrepreneurs of small and medium enterprises, as well as social entrepreneurs, those who are not donor-dependent, and intrapreneurs," according to a press release from the Asian Institute of Management the new executive MBA in entrepreneurship lasts 15 months and will welcome its first intake in September 2013.

Teaching on the program will consist of classroom sessions, business simulations, seminars, visits to companies, immersions abroad, plus hands-on and interactive sessions.

“Entrepreneurs are the engines of growth, and the world needs entrepreneurial solutions and leaders who can create significant economic and social value throughout the ASEAN region and elsewhere,” explains Professor Gracia S Ugut, dean of the Executive Education and Lifelong Learning Center at the Asian Institute of Management.

According to the business school, admitted students for the executive MBA in entrepreneurship will need to show that they have been in charge of, or held a direct reporting position in a business for at least two years, as well as submit financial highlights, proof of current state and future plans for the company. In addition, standard MBA application requirements such as a GMAT report or the school's own MBA admissions test, the AIMAT, are required.
